Bio
“Coyote” Reed Parker is an artist from Southeast Louisiana working in painting, digital art, creative writing, and film. He is currently based in New Orleans, USA.
During his adolescence, Parker spent four years of his secondary education training in Visual Arts at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts in New Orleans, LA. He then went on to graduate from the University of New Orleans with a BA in Film.
Parker’s work is marked by a close relationship to nature and his homeland, and a way of seeing the world where the past and myth merge. He is best known for his oil paintings, which are narrative-based and often dance between abstract and figurative depiction.
